Hi everyone. So it looks like we are going back to Jan 2014 for our inspiration. I wasn't doing any challenges back then cause I didn't know they existed until November 2014. I had been stampin up since 2007 and became a demonstrator back in 2010 or 11 I can't remember, and it was only for 1 year as my other full time job took precedence as it was the job that paid the bills. Anyway here is my entry for this weeks challenge and if you want to join in on the fun just click here http://canyoucaseit.com/?p=2215 and check them out. Keep in mind it gets so addicting. Well I hope you all enjoy my card. Cheers! So the main reason I ordered this stamp set way back in 2008 was to make the dryer sheet cards for Christmas that year and Of course as usual Stampin Up always comes up with new stuff every year that is another must have! So I never ever did make them until this week. My last week of vacation and I got together with my friend and we stamped our hearts out and then I came home and made more LOL. So here they are and I made them in all different colors and I think they are all beautiful. I used Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist, Black, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy and Baked Brown Sugar. I hope they inspire you to do that project you have always wanted to do as well. and I hope you like them. Not that, that matters cause I do regardless LOL Made this card for the Case this sketch challenge #137. This is one of my favorite stamp sets and I hope you like it as well. You can join in the fun as well by going here http://casethissketch.blogspot.com/ So much fun doing the challenges. Have fun I can't wait to see what you enter. So I am back from my vacation but don't have to go back to work until the 31st. So I plan on lots of card making, as I took my 6 boxes of cards and sold them at our camp site. What a great idea I almost sold all of them so lots need to be made in the next year LOL. Weird they bought my whole box of Christmas ones??? 30+ degrees outside and they are buying the Christmas cards! Ok so on to the card I am entering into the challenge for the Paper Craft Crew 158. What a great sketch challenge this week I love it and I hope to see your cards there as well, just go here http://www.papercraftcrew.com/ to join in the great fun. I hope you enjoy my card this week. Ok so I am off to the mountains for 3 weeks and this is my last entry until I return. It looks confusing but it isn't. It is a 2 for 1 but the challenge acronyms are very similar LOL Color Me #83 and Create with Connie and Mary #367 you can join in the addiction by following these links http://colourmecardchallenge.blogspot.com/ and http://www.createwithconnieandmary.com/create-with-connie-and-mary/ I hope you like my card and join in the fun yourself. Cheers and see you in 3 weeks! Made this card for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge#156 I hope you all like it. I used Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe and White. You can join in the fun and enter your card here http://www.papercraftcrew.com/ What a great sketch to follow this week. Well I am off tomorrow for summer vacation and were heading to Kaslo B.C. Klowie loves swimming in the lake and going on hikes. See you all when I get back in 3 weeks. So I made this card for a color challenge with Color Q 302 you had to use Peach Parfait, Bermuda Bay, Hello Honey, So Saffron and white. So this is what I came up with. Also take into consideration I just watched a video from Deb Valder and this is cased from her herringbone technique. You can also join in the fun and enter a card you made with these colors by just going here http://colourq.blogspot.com/ Can't wait to see what you come up with. Ok Stampin Up Only #128 is all about making butterflies the focal point and I love butterflies. So I used the butterfly thinlet dies and cut one out in velum and I took the Bermuda bay sequin and added rhinestones to the center and lined them up to make the thorax of the butterfly, then I used a glue pen and glittered it up with dazzling Diamonds glitter or as my sister in law calls it hooker glitter LOL And well you can see the rest. Butterfly is the center of attention I hope you like it. So again another 2 for 1. Two challenges one card. I just love Can You Case It challenge site and the Color Me challenge site. I now have too many of these and so I have had to choose my favorites and narrow it down to four. I think I had 30 different ones I was trying to keep up with to no avail. So these are 2 of the four and I hope you like my card. you can join in the fun and enter a card or two of your own just follow these links http://canyoucaseit.com/?taxonomy=category&term=case-of-the-week and http://colourmecardchallenge.blogspot.com/ I will warn you this is addicting LOL I only started doing these challenges in November and go look at my card gallery OMG! it is crazy! I felt bad leaving Hayley out so I did her colors as well. |
